Being in my second trimester of pregnancy with my second child, I’m thinking a lot about everything I actually need for this baby.

When I was registering for my first baby shower I had no idea what I needed. I wasn’t aware of certain features that baby products have to make moms’ lives easier.

For example, this time around I want a wireless, hands free breast pump and a self rocking bassinet. Why? Because having to find time to plug myself up to a wall in the middle of the day is tough. And having to rock my baby to sleep when there are literally a million and one other things that need to be done, is tough.

During my first pregnancy, I didn’t even know these products existed! I know, I was kinda clueless.

I also want a new diaper bag that will accommodate and consolidate everything needed when packing for two small children.

Particularly, the Vanilla Latte Boss Backpack from Itzy Ritzy. I’ve been eyeing this diaper bag before I even found out I was pregnant and now I know I absolutely have to have it!

But let me tell you why…

Storage, Storage & More Storage

Ladies! This diaper bag has 17 pockets! I think that is more than plenty of storage for two small children, don’t you?

The Boss Backpack has 10 internal pockets perfect for onesies, snacks, receiving blankets, diapers, wipes, pacifiers, toys, sippy cups, your makeup, your snacks, anything you may need for multiple kids and yourself!

Remember what I said about baby products with features that make moms lives easier?

Well how about 7 external pockets which include 2 insulated bottle pockets and a felt lined valuables pocket.

As a breastfeeding mama, there were plenty of times I had to pump in the car just for my milk to get cold before my son needed it. And let’s be honest, babies like their food warm too.

I remember one morning on the way to church, I manually pumped in the back seat and prepped a bottle for my son. I did this just so I would be able to feed him once he got fussy so I didn’t have to leave the sermon to go nurse him.

Well guess what, the bottle got cold, my son didn’t want it and I had no way of heating it up. I had to take my 6 month old to the restroom to nurse him so I could at least listen to the sermon from in there. It was such a nightmare. So you can only imagine how thrilled I was when I saw that the Boss Backpack has insulated bottle pockets!

And to top it off, a felt lined valuables pocket to keep my sunglasses and phone from being scratched! I’m literally obsessed!

Convenience

This diaper bag is a backpack! Obviously meaning you can carry it on your back for convenience! When I was shopping for diaper bags the majority of them were shoulder bags. So naturally I figured I needed a shoulder bag for a reason I wasn’t aware of yet.

Yeah that’s not true. In fact, a shoulder bag makes lugging your children’s belongings around, incredibly inconvenient!

Every time you bend over to pick your screaming 2 year old up from a tantrum, the bag slides right off into the floor with them. Or having to hold your infant while browsing the aisles of Target and not being able to reach for anything on the shelves because your shoulder diaper bag just slides into all the merchandise, knocking it all onto the floor.

Just trust me, backpacks are the way to go!

Changing Pad

Every diaper bag has a changing pad. Or at least they should. If yours doesn’t you need a new one anyways so go add this one to your cart!

Having roughly 2 years of experience using a diaper bag, if there was one thing I could change about my diaper bag, I would very much appreciate a sturdier changing pad.

A durable, easy to clean, heavy duty changing pad is a must have. Babies poop at the worst times and it’s always safe to have a reliable place to lay them.

The Boss Backpack’s changing pad is all of these things and more! And just look at the cute design printed on it!

And once you’re finished with it, you simply fold it and tuck it away in the back compartment.

The back compartment is easily one of my favorite features of this diaper bag. In the event the changing pad was to get messy, the back compartment is a secure spot to keep it stored while on the go that’s separate from everything else in your diaper bag. It’s such a sleek and innovative touch.

Stroller Straps

That’s right, no more shoving your diaper bag in the bottom of your stroller!

It’s so annoying when you need to grab the baby’s paci or your keys and you have to pull the entire diaper bag out of the stroller, requiring the use of both hands, just to shove it back under the stroller leaving it smushed and creased. Completely wearing out your new product.

The Boss Backpack has stroller straps! Which is such a game changer. I have yet to see any other diaper bag with this much needed feature.

And when you feel like carrying the diaper bag on your back, the stroller straps can be removed! You can keep them stored in one of the 17 pockets of the diaper bag so you never leave the house without them!

Patent Pending Rubber Bag Feet

If you’re not familiar with the term “patent pending” it’s simply an indication that an inventor is seeking protection for an idea of theirs. And this idea is rather brilliant might I add!

The Boss Backpack diaper bag was designed to stand upright on its own to avoid slouching, which would therefore cause damage to the bag.

This backpack isn’t like the one you had in high school when the main pocket acted as a catch all. This bag has pockets, sections and was designed to never slouch. It’s functional and makes leaving the house with your kiddos, easier.

Which has always been the creators number one goal!

Style

I know you’ve probably been waiting to find out what I meant earlier in the post when I said “Vanilla Latte Boss Backpack”. And you guessed right, Vanilla Latte is the color!

And although I’ve been sharing pictures of this one all along, this Boss Backpack comes in 3 other colors! Including Blush Crush, Coffee & Cream and Jetsetter Black.

My heart is set on Vanilla Latte, but I can’t deny that the other 3 colors are incredibly chic.

And as if this diaper bag wasn’t cute enough, each one comes with a coordinating tassel that is 100% vegan leather!

Conclusion

If this amazing product isn’t already sitting in your cart, there’s something very special about it that I’ve been waiting to share with you.

As I mentioned before, the creator of this diaper bag has set forth to make all of their products functional for the everyday user.

But what you don’t know is this amazing product was created by parents.

So I’d say they definitely know what all is needed when creating a diaper bag!

Here’s a little about them:

And if you just can’t get enough, here’s their story:

Which one are you adding to your cart?!
